Project Description
Tulsa Police Injured and Fallen Officers
Since 1917, the Tulsa Police Department has suffered the loss of 40 police officers who were killed in the line of duty. Every new police officer takes an oath of office which contains the following statement: “I will protect the Rights, Lives, and Property of all citizens and uphold the honor of the Police Profession, with my life, if need be.” These 40 officers gave the ultimate sacrifice for the citizens of Tulsa.
The Tulsa Police Department Foundation helps support fallen officer families as well those injured in the line of duty.

Law enforcement officers are never ‘off duty.’ They are dedicated public servants who are sworn to protect public safety at any time and place that the peace is threatened. They need all the help that they can get.
